This finely detailed Buddha statue pairs a polished gold face and torso with a robe entirely mosaicked in small turquoise tiles, creating a striking textured contrast across the piece. Cast in brass, the figure sits in bhumisparsha mudra with the right hand touching the earth and the left hand cradling a small vessel in the lap, while the bare gold chest catches the light against the dense turquoise stonework covering both shoulders. A diagonal sash crosses the chest in an alternating checkerboard pattern of red and blue stone tiles trimmed with a beaded gold edge, and a scattering of coral and mirrored accents adds further richness to the sash band. Large turquoise cabochons in gold settings sit at each knee, echoing the color story continued at the base, where the lotus petal rim is wrapped in an alternating red and blue tiled border. This richly detailed, jewel-toned piece brings temple-grade craftsmanship to a compact scale.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
