This gently weathered Buddha statue combines a soft sage-green face and torso with a densely engraved robe finished in a matching pale wash, brightened by fine gold trim along every seam and border. Cast in brass, the figure sits with the right hand raised near the chest and the left hand resting in the lap holding a small covered vessel, the golden accent along the sash and hem catching the light against the muted green skin tone. The robe covers one shoulder and is finely engraved with cloud motifs and small figural details, continuing across the crossed legs in the same soft palette. The face carries a calm, composed expression beneath a tall pointed ushnisha, with elongated earlobes and a softly weathered brow. The figure sits on a rounded cushion base carved with a lotus petal border, its edges picked out in gold, all resting atop a wide oval plinth with a Greek key meander trim at the rim. This softly toned, gold-accented piece brings a serene, weathered elegance to any devotional or decor setting.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
