This distinctive Buddha statue is set against a rounded, sunburst-style aureole, its surface carved with radiating linear rays in a soft weathered sage-green finish. Cast in brass, the figure sits in dhyana mudra with both hands resting together in the lap, holding a small alms bowl, the muted green tone of the face and chest contrasted by warm gilded gold on both shoulders and the draped robe fold. The face carries a calm, composed expression beneath a small pointed ushnisha, with the coral-pink undertone of the base coat peeking through along the halo's edges and robe folds for a softly aged, hand-finished look. The figure sits on a compact base carved with a scalloped lotus petal band, finished in the same weathered palette as the halo behind. Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
