This vividly hand-painted Buddha statue combines a polished gold face with a robe worked entirely in a rich floral gemstone inlay, giving it a jewel-box quality on a compact scale. Cast in brass, the figure sits in padmasana with both hands resting together in the lap in dhyana mudra, the gold face left bare for calm contrast against the surrounding colour. The robe is covered edge to edge in a deep green ground inlaid with red star-shaped floral bursts, layered over a maroon underrobe scattered with small gold leaf motifs and a single green floral medallion at the chest. A double strand of blue beadwork drapes across both shoulders like a garland, adding further texture and colour. The base continues the theme, alternating maroon and green panels each set with green or blue floral inlay and a scattering of gold leaf accents and corner cabochons. Compact and richly coloured, this piece brings a lively, artisanal presence to any devotional or decor setting.

Care Instructions

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the natural shine. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, or detergents, as these can damage the brass finish.

Brass is a natural metal and may tarnish or darken slightly over time when exposed to air and moisture - this is a normal characteristic of brass and not a manufacturing defect. To restore shine, use a brass polish or a mild solution of lemon and salt, gently rub with a soft cloth, then wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity to help prevent tarnishing.
